We all embrace this time of year with the highlight been on the clocks changing and lighter nights ensuing – more time to spend in your glasshouse and start to take stock of what the future holds looking towards this years’ growth.
It is, with great anticipation, fast approaching the 12th of April when the Government is still suggesting that a further return to normality will go ahead – with most of the non-essential high street shops re-opening which includes public houses and restaurants (for outdoor service only) and many other outdoor pursuits that we have all missed over this past year. Many of our team are eagerly awaiting gymnasiums to re-open, although most of our staffs’ jobs are physically challenging, there’s nothing quite like the adrenalin driven gym experience – or so they tell me!
With Spring now with us – apparent in the abundance of daffodils and bluebells in all their respondent glory blowing majestically in the breeze – we could have been forgiven to thinking we’d had a return to winter as the weather through us a curve ball and we experienced slight snow-fall and frost this last week – thankfully our weather forecast apps keep us abreast of these rare events and been fore warned we can take appropriate action to prevent any damage to crops.
